The ‘Kubba Trading Company’ (KTC) began in the late 1800s in Baghdad , with Hajji Mohammed R asheed Kubba entering the traditional family business field of textiles. With the advancement of globalization and proliferation of technology, Hajji Rasheed Kubba’s fledgling endeavors would prove in the generations to come to be one of the most respected and fastest growing companies in Iraq , diversifying into the fields of wholesale food and general import/export. Today’s Kubba Trading Company has given rise to a family name that has become a staple in Middle Eastern Households.

With the original Kubba textile showroom and offices still operational in Baghdad today by Mr.Yousif Kubba, the KTC’s head office was moved in 2000 to Dubai , UAE, by hajj Mohammed Rasheed Kubba’s grandson and namesake.
